Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Called It mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and dardavdev ("we", "us", "our"), the developer of Called It.
2. Description of the Service
Called It is a social prediction platform that allows users to:
- Create sealed predictions about future events (max 280 characters).
- Share predictions publicly or within private groups.
- Vote on whether other users' predictions were accurate.
- Earn reputation badges and rankings based on prediction accuracy.
- Interact with other users through follows, comments, reactions, and groups.
The App does not constitute financial advice, gambling, or betting. Predictions are opinions shared for social and entertainment purposes only. No real money, prizes, or stakes are involved in the prediction or voting process.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly allow minors under 18 to register.
If we discover that a user is under 18, we will delete their account and all associated data without notice.
4. Account Registration
To use the App, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when choosing your username and display name.
- Not impersonate another person or entity.
- Not create multiple accounts to manipulate rankings, votes, or the system.
- Keep your authentication credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.
5. User Content
5.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you create on the App (predictions, comments, reactions). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content solely for the purpose of operating the App.
This license ends when you delete your content or your account, except where your content has been shared by other users or is reasonably necessary to maintain the integrity of existing conversations.
5.2 Prediction Sealing
When you create a prediction, the App seals it with an immutable server timestamp. Once sealed, the prediction text and reveal date cannot be altered: database security rules prevent any edit after creation, so the original record stands as proof that you made the prediction at that specific time.
The prediction text remains hidden from other users until the reveal date you set. You can view your own sealed predictions at any time.
5.3 Content Rules
You agree not to post content that:
- Contains threats of violence or incites harm against individuals or groups.
- Constitutes harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse.
- Contains spam, advertising, or commercial solicitations.
- Deliberately spreads misinformation intended to deceive or manipulate.
- Contains sexually explicit, obscene, or inappropriate material.
- Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Violates any applicable law or regulation.
Predictions are not encrypted so that our moderation team can review reported content and enforce these rules.
6. Community Voting and Rankings
6.1 Voting System
Once a prediction is revealed, any user can vote on whether the prediction was accurate ("Called It") or not ("Missed It"). A minimum of 5 votes is required for the result to count as an official verdict. The majority decides the outcome.
Voting is a community opinion mechanism, not a factual determination. We do not guarantee the accuracy, fairness, or objectivity of community votes.
6.2 Rankings and Badges
Rankings are calculated based on accuracy, authority, and volume of verified predictions. Badges reflect your reputation level. These are for entertainment and social recognition only; they carry no monetary value and do not create any entitlement.
We reserve the right to adjust the ranking formula or badge thresholds at any time to improve fairness.
6.3 Fair Play
Manipulating the voting or ranking system is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:
- Creating multiple accounts to vote on your own predictions.
- Coordinating with other users to inflate or deflate votes.
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App.
- Deliberately deleting and recreating predictions to game metrics.
Violation of fair play rules may result in account suspension or permanent ban.
7. Groups
Users can create and join private groups using invite codes. Group admins are responsible for the groups they create. We are not responsible for content shared within groups.
Group admins can delete groups, which removes the group and its associations but does not delete individual predictions or user accounts. Members can leave groups at any time.
8. Reporting and Moderation
Users can report predictions, comments, or other users for the following reasons: spam, harassment, violence, misinformation, inappropriate content, or other violations.
We review reports and may take action including content removal, warnings, account suspension, or permanent bans. We reserve the right to make final moderation decisions at our sole discretion.
Abuse of the reporting system (filing false or malicious reports) may itself result in sanctions.
9. Notifications
The App may send you in-app notifications about activity related to your account (follows, comments, reactions, reveals, verifications). Push notifications are optional and require your explicit consent. You can manage notification preferences in Settings at any time.
10. Account Suspension and Deletion
10.1 Suspension
You can voluntarily suspend your account from Settings > Suspend Account. While suspended, your profile and content are not accessible, but your data is preserved. You can reactivate at any time by signing in.
We may also suspend your account if we detect violations of these Terms. We will attempt to notify you, but are not obligated to do so in cases of severe violations.
10.2 Deletion
You can permanently delete your account from Settings > Delete Account. This action is irreversible and removes all your data from our systems, including your profile, predictions, comments, reactions, votes, follows, groups, and notifications.
We may also delete accounts that remain suspended for extended periods or that severely violate these Terms.
11. Intellectual Property
The Called It name, logo, design, and source code are the property of dardavdev. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our written consent.
User-generated content (predictions, comments) remains the property of the respective users, subject to the license granted in Section 5.1.
12. Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers a free tier with limited functionality and a paid subscription ("Pro") with additional features. Subscription prices and features are displayed in the App before purchase.
Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All payments, refunds, cancellations, and billing inquiries are governed by the respective store's terms and policies. We do not directly process any payment information.
Free-tier users may see advertisements served by Google AdMob. Pro subscribers will not see ads.
13. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy or outcome of any prediction, vote, ranking, or badge.
- We are not responsible for content posted by users.
- We are not responsible for actions taken by third-party services (Google, Apple, Supabase, Sentry, Firebase).
- We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from server failures, bugs, or your own actions (e.g., deleting your account).
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or 50 EUR, whichever is greater.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless dardavdev from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
15. Disclaimers
- Called It is not a gambling, betting, or financial platform. No real money or assets are at stake.
- Predictions are user opinions. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee any prediction.
- Rankings and badges are for entertainment. They do not constitute professional credentials or qualifications.
- The seal proves timing, not accuracy. It is evidence of when a prediction was made, nothing more.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify you through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the App and delete your account.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be submitted to the courts of Spain, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
Before initiating any formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith communication via email.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

1. Aceptación de los Términos
Al descargar, instalar o usar la aplicación móvil Called It ("la App"), aceptas quedar vinculado por estos Términos y Condiciones ("Términos"). Si no estás de acuerdo con alguna parte de estos Términos, no debes usar la App.
Estos Términos constituyen un acuerdo legalmente vinculante entre tú ("Usuario", "tú") y dardavdev ("nosotros", "nos", "nuestro"), el desarrollador de Called It.
2. Descripción del Servicio
Called It es una plataforma social de predicciones que permite a los usuarios:
- Crear predicciones selladas sobre eventos futuros (máximo 280 caracteres).
- Compartir predicciones públicamente o en grupos privados.
- Votar si las predicciones de otros usuarios fueron acertadas.
- Obtener badges de reputación y posiciones en rankings según la precisión de sus predicciones.
- Interactuar con otros usuarios mediante seguimientos, comentarios, reacciones y grupos.
La App no constituye asesoramiento financiero, juego de azar ni apuestas. Las predicciones son opiniones compartidas con fines sociales y de entretenimiento únicamente. No hay dinero real, premios ni apuestas involucradas en el proceso de predicción o votación.
3. Requisitos de Edad
Debes tener al menos 18 años para usar la App. Al crear una cuenta, confirmas que tienes 18 años o más. No permitimos conscientemente que menores de 18 se registren.
Si descubrimos que un usuario es menor de 18 años, eliminaremos su cuenta y todos los datos asociados sin previo aviso.
4. Registro de Cuenta
Para usar la App, debes crear una cuenta usando Google Sign-In o Apple Sign-In. Aceptas:
- Proporcionar información veraz al elegir tu nombre de usuario y nombre para mostrar.
- No suplantar a otra persona o entidad.
- No crear múltiples cuentas para manipular rankings, votos o el sistema.
- Mantener seguras tus credenciales de autenticación. Eres responsable de toda la actividad bajo tu cuenta.
Nos reservamos el derecho de suspender o eliminar cuentas que infrinjan estos Términos.
5. Contenido del Usuario
5.1 Propiedad
Conservas la propiedad de todo el contenido que creas en la App (predicciones, comentarios, reacciones). Al publicar contenido, nos otorgas una licencia no exclusiva, mundial y libre de regalías para mostrar, distribuir y almacenar tu contenido únicamente con el fin de operar la App.
Esta licencia finaliza cuando eliminas tu contenido o tu cuenta, salvo cuando tu contenido haya sido compartido por otros usuarios o sea razonablemente necesario para mantener la integridad de conversaciones existentes.
5.2 Sellado de Predicciones
Cuando creas una predicción, la App la sella con un timestamp de servidor inmutable. Una vez sellada, el texto y la fecha de revelación no pueden alterarse: las reglas de seguridad de la base de datos impiden cualquier edición tras la creación, por lo que el registro original queda como prueba de que hiciste la predicción en ese momento específico.
El texto de la predicción permanece oculto para otros usuarios hasta la fecha de revelación que establezcas. Puedes ver tus propias predicciones selladas en cualquier momento.
5.3 Normas de Contenido
Aceptas no publicar contenido que:
- Contenga amenazas de violencia o incite al daño contra personas o grupos.
- Constituya acoso, intimidación o abuso dirigido.
- Contenga spam, publicidad o solicitudes comerciales.
- Difunda deliberadamente desinformación destinada a engañar o manipular.
- Contenga material sexualmente explícito, obsceno o inapropiado.
- Infrinja los derechos de propiedad intelectual de terceros.
- Viole cualquier ley o regulación aplicable.
Las predicciones no están cifradas para que nuestro equipo de moderación pueda revisar el contenido reportado y hacer cumplir estas normas.
6. Votación Comunitaria y Rankings
6.1 Sistema de Votación
Una vez revelada una predicción, cualquier usuario puede votar si fue acertada ("Called It") o no ("Missed It"). Se requiere un mínimo de 5 votos para que el resultado cuente como veredicto oficial. La mayoría decide el resultado.
La votación es un mecanismo de opinión comunitaria, no una determinación factual. No garantizamos la precisión, justicia u objetividad de los votos comunitarios.
6.2 Rankings y Badges
Los rankings se calculan en base a la precisión, autoridad y volumen de predicciones verificadas. Los badges reflejan tu nivel de reputación. Son solo para entretenimiento y reconocimiento social; no tienen valor monetario ni crean ningún derecho.
Nos reservamos el derecho de ajustar la fórmula de ranking o los umbrales de badges en cualquier momento para mejorar la equidad.
6.3 Juego Limpio
Manipular el sistema de votación o ranking está estrictamente prohibido. Esto incluye, entre otros:
- Crear múltiples cuentas para votar en tus propias predicciones.
- Coordinarse con otros usuarios para inflar o deflactar votos.
- Usar herramientas automatizadas, bots o scripts para interactuar con la App.
- Eliminar y recrear deliberadamente predicciones para manipular métricas.
La violación de las normas de juego limpio puede resultar en suspensión de cuenta o prohibición permanente.
7. Grupos
Los usuarios pueden crear y unirse a grupos privados usando códigos de invitación. Los administradores de grupo son responsables de los grupos que crean. No somos responsables del contenido compartido dentro de los grupos.
Los administradores pueden eliminar grupos, lo que elimina el grupo y sus asociaciones pero no borra predicciones individuales ni cuentas de usuario. Los miembros pueden abandonar grupos en cualquier momento.
8. Reportes y Moderación
Los usuarios pueden reportar predicciones, comentarios u otros usuarios por las siguientes razones: spam, acoso, violencia, desinformación, contenido inapropiado u otras infracciones.
Revisamos los reportes y podemos tomar medidas que incluyen la eliminación de contenido, advertencias, suspensión de cuenta o prohibiciones permanentes. Nos reservamos el derecho de tomar decisiones finales de moderación a nuestra entera discreción.
El abuso del sistema de reportes (presentar reportes falsos o maliciosos) puede resultar en sanciones.
9. Notificaciones
La App puede enviarte notificaciones dentro de la app sobre actividad relacionada con tu cuenta (seguimientos, comentarios, reacciones, revelaciones, verificaciones). Las notificaciones push son opcionales y requieren tu consentimiento explícito. Puedes gestionar las preferencias de notificaciones en Ajustes en cualquier momento.
10. Suspensión y Eliminación de Cuenta
10.1 Suspensión
Puedes suspender voluntariamente tu cuenta desde Ajustes > Suspender Cuenta. Mientras esté suspendida, tu perfil y contenido no son accesibles, pero tus datos se conservan. Puedes reactivarla en cualquier momento iniciando sesión.
También podemos suspender tu cuenta si detectamos infracciones de estos Términos. Intentaremos notificarte, pero no estamos obligados a hacerlo en casos de infracciones graves.
10.2 Eliminación
Puedes eliminar permanentemente tu cuenta desde Ajustes > Eliminar Cuenta. Esta acción es irreversible y elimina todos tus datos de nuestros sistemas, incluyendo tu perfil, predicciones, comentarios, reacciones, votos, seguimientos, grupos y notificaciones.
También podemos eliminar cuentas que permanezcan suspendidas durante periodos prolongados o que infrinjan gravemente estos Términos.
11. Propiedad Intelectual
El nombre Called It, el logo, el diseño y el código fuente son propiedad de dardavdev. No puedes copiar, modificar, distribuir ni crear obras derivadas basadas en la App sin nuestro consentimiento por escrito.
El contenido generado por los usuarios (predicciones, comentarios) sigue siendo propiedad de los respectivos usuarios, sujeto a la licencia otorgada en la Sección 5.1.
12. Suscripciones y Pagos
La App ofrece un tier gratuito con funcionalidad limitada y una suscripción de pago ("Pro") con funcionalidades adicionales. Los precios y funcionalidades de la suscripción se muestran en la App antes de la compra.
Las suscripciones son gestionadas a través de RevenueCat y procesadas por Apple App Store o Google Play Store. Todos los pagos, reembolsos, cancelaciones y consultas de facturación se rigen por los términos y políticas de la tienda respectiva. No procesamos directamente ninguna información de pago.
Los usuarios del tier gratuito pueden ver anuncios servidos por Google AdMob. Los suscriptores Pro no verán anuncios.
13. Limitación de Responsabilidad
La App se proporciona "tal cual" y "según disponibilidad" sin garantías de ningún tipo, ya sean expresas o implícitas. No garantizamos que la App sea ininterrumpida, libre de errores o esté disponible en todo momento.
En la medida máxima permitida por la ley aplicable:
- No somos responsables de ningún daño directo, indirecto, incidental, consecuente o punitivo derivado de tu uso de la App.
- No somos responsables de la precisión o resultado de ninguna predicción, voto, ranking o badge.
- No somos responsables del contenido publicado por los usuarios.
- No somos responsables de las acciones de servicios de terceros (Google, Apple, Supabase, Sentry, Firebase).
- No somos responsables de la pérdida de datos resultante de fallos del servidor, errores o tus propias acciones (por ejemplo, eliminar tu cuenta).
Nuestra responsabilidad total ante ti por cualquier reclamación derivada del uso de la App no excederá la cantidad que nos hayas pagado en los 12 meses anteriores a la reclamación, o 50 EUR, lo que sea mayor.
14. Indemnización
Aceptas indemnizar y mantener indemne a dardavdev frente a cualquier reclamación, daño, pérdida o gasto (incluidos honorarios legales) derivados de tu uso de la App, tu contenido, tu infracción de estos Términos o tu infracción de derechos de terceros.
15. Exclusiones
- Called It no es una plataforma de juego, apuestas ni financiera. No hay dinero real ni activos en juego.
- Las predicciones son opiniones de los usuarios. No respaldamos, verificamos ni garantizamos ninguna predicción.
- Los rankings y badges son de entretenimiento. No constituyen credenciales profesionales ni cualificaciones.
- El sello prueba el momento, no la precisión. Es evidencia de cuándo se hizo una predicción, nada más.
16. Cambios en Estos Términos
Podemos modificar estos Términos en cualquier momento. Cuando hagamos cambios significativos, actualizaremos la fecha efectiva y te notificaremos a través de la App. Tu uso continuado de la App después de los cambios constituye la aceptación de los nuevos Términos.
Si no estás de acuerdo con los Términos actualizados, debes dejar de usar la App y eliminar tu cuenta.
17. Legislación Aplicable y Disputas
Estos Términos se rigen por la legislación de España. Cualquier disputa derivada de estos Términos o tu uso de la App se someterá a los tribunales de España, salvo que la legislación de protección al consumidor de tu país de residencia establezca lo contrario de forma obligatoria.
Antes de iniciar cualquier procedimiento formal, ambas partes acuerdan intentar la resolución mediante comunicación de buena fe por correo electrónico.
18. Divisibilidad
Si alguna disposición de estos Términos se considera inválida o inaplicable, las disposiciones restantes continuarán en pleno vigor y efecto. La disposición inválida se modificará en la medida mínima necesaria para hacerla válida y aplicable.
